What If and Fictional Aircraft Thread

Post by Cerberus_K18 on Wed Jul 29, 2015 9:29 pm

This thread is dedicated to the "What could have been", "What should have been", or "Never were" of the aviation world. A place for us to show off our original designs, frankenplanes, and alternate universe designs to our hearts content. Screenshots, skteches, profiles, and write ups are all welcome here. Don't have your own design? Link to others work if you like but give credit where it's due. In addition please do not engage in needless arguments or act maliciously.

Profile view of the F-16G Block 70 Fighting Falcon+ an upgrade of the F-16C Block 50 airframe integrating an AESA Radar, F110-132 engine, IRSTS, DSI, tail mounted ASPJ, LOAN with AVEN, and redesigned tail and wing surfaces.

Top down drawing of my UCLASS design with a ruddervator tail, it would have the capacity to conduct ISR missions in addition to carrying weapons such as the JDAM and SDB for strike operations. I don't have a set designation or name for this aircraft.

Alenia Aermacchi AL-379 Strikestar; an attack aircraft based off the M-346 Master advanced trainer. This example is in the markings of the fictional European Union Air Force. Artwork by John Lacey, commissioned by Me.

This place needs more Magnum and Hammer.

F-56N Sea Magnum and F-56A Magnum:

    F-58C Hammer:

    F-59A Sabre II:

    C-XX Advanced Tactical Transport:

    RB-7A Phoenix:

    F-14E Block II Ultra Tomcat:

    Global Reach orbital bomber:

And I think I will leave it at that for the moment...

She is the Bm.422 Ginover (Pronounced like "Jennifer", and is the German form of the name "Guinevere"), a native Belkan fighter built as a direct answer to the Osean FX Program that led to the F-15 and Yuktobanian Su-27 series. I'll post her specs later.

That is hot Lem, and Ceb, that makes me want to redo my F-16G design <___>
And here is something that isn't an aircraft itself, but it is carried by all of my naval aircraft, along with warships:
    Mk55 SuperCav Torpedo

Top is without the rocket booster used for shipborne VLS launch, bottom is with the booster.
